Show Running Order And Calls

• Attend a run through of the show at least prior to the get in
• Create a props list (director/producer will get all the props and may make a list themselves, stage manager needs said list)
• (Optional, encouraged for shows with small casts/crews) Attend the get in and get out to help construct the set
• Manage props during the production (in absence of dedicated crew)
• Keep aware of the scene currently being performed during a run to ensure actors don't miss their cues
• Communicate with show's Technical Director if the TD needs a cue that they can't see
• If something goes wrong during a performance (eg lost props/costume), help find a solution (the shows TD can potentially help as well)
• Make sure cast and crew are prepared for each run. Check that props and costumes are in the right spot and the stage is preset
• Help move set and props during scene changes during the show and/or the interval
• Be on hand to assist actors with quick costume changes or to give them their props
