If you like making things look spectacular and have a desire for design, then the New Theatre has one of the biggest blank canvasses around… the entire stage!

The role of the set designer varies from show to show depending on the wishes of the director/producer. It is completely optional for shows to have a set designer. They can be used for anything from working out how to build a set, developing and fine tuning the director's ideas, to designing it all from scratch.
